China, as a global biodiversity hotspot, has accumulated valuable experience in protecting endangered species and implementing large-scale afforestation programs. This article examines China's conservation and afforestation measures, analyzing the success factors behind its ecosystem restoration and biodiversity threat reduction. Key initiatives include the strict implementation of CITES, rigorous laws combating wildlife trafficking, mega-projects like "Grain for Green" for converting low-yield farmland to forests, and the use of innovative technologies such as aerial seeding. These integrated policies have not only increased forest cover from 8.6% to over 24% and revived populations of iconic species like the Giant Panda and Red-crowned Crane but have also significantly contributed to poverty reduction and improved rural livelihoods by aligning conservation goals with economic development and public participation. China's experience demonstrates that successful environmental conservation requires a comprehensive approach based on robust legislation, long-term investment, innovative technologies, and active community involvement. Drawing from these key lessons, the article proposes practical strategies for adapting these experiences to other countries, such as Iran, which face similar environmental challenges. Recommendations include strengthening environmental laws, promoting public participation in afforestation, developing environmental education and diplomacy, fostering a green economy, and establishing continuous monitoring systems for natural resource management.
