Abstract

In ecosystems that managed by human, some of inputs were exposed. Over application of inputs without suitable efficiency can destroy food and soil and water resources. In the production process, it is necessary to consider energy efficiency. This index could be used for valuation of the stability of production system and increase the energy efficiencyby input management. Energy efficiency in agro ecosystem includes the ratio of output to input energy. In order to estimation of energy efficiency in agro ecosystems special software was designed and programmed. In the software, operations and inputs as well as yields based on energy efficiency were evaluated. Moreover, for each production unit the level of energy efficiency and label energy for crop ecosystems can be determined.
