Considering the importance of roots in the process of water and nutrient uptake from soil, it is necessary to study the mechanism of root adaptation to environmental stresses, including drought stress, especially in woody phreatophyte species, which are more important in forestation. In this research, the weight and length distribution of Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehnh roots as a pharotypophyte species was investigated. The experiment was carried out under lysimetric conditions at different irrigation regimes (irrigation at field capacity as control, 30% and 60% of deficit irrigation). The results of this study indicated that the weight and root length decreased with decreasing plant access to water or deficit irrigation. The weight and length distribution of roots at different depths depended on the amount of plant access to water, so that the root distribution in the deeper soil decreased by increased deficit irrigation stress. Therefore, it can be concluded that, in contrast to xerophyte and mesophyte plants, the root penetration of E. camaldulensis depends thoroughly on the amount of water in the deeper soil depths. In other words, the dried underlying layers of soil inhibit the root growth in the depths, and the plant manages its vegetative growth through adaptation with available water in the soil surface layers.}, keywords = {Eucalyptus camaldulensis,Deficit Irrigation,root distribution,Lysimeter}, title_fa = {واکنش ریشه گونه‌های چوبی فراتوفیت (آب‌یاب) به تنش خشکی}, abstract_fa = {فراتوفیت‌ها گیاهانی هستند که نیاز آبی خود را  به‌طور مستقیم از طریق توسعه ریشه‌های کارامد، از منابع آبی سطحی تامین نموده و برای رشد مطلوب، ریشه باید در تماس مستقیم با آب و یا خاک کاملاً مرطوب قرار گیرد. با توجه به اهمیت ریشه در فرایند جذب آب و مواد غذایی از خاک، مطالعه رفتار و سازوکارهای سازگاری آن به تنش‌های محیطی و از جمله تنش خشکی بویژه درخصوص گونه‌های چوبی فراتوفیت که در جنگلکاری از اهمیت خاصی برخوردار هستند، بسیار ضروری است. در این تحقیق پراکنش وزنی و طولی ریشهcamaldulensis  Eucalyptus به عنوان یک گونه فراتوفیت مورد توجه قرار گرفت. آزمایش در شرایط لایسیمتری و تحت تاثیر رژیم‌های مختلف کم آبیاری (آبیاری در حد ظرفیت زراعی به عنوان شاهد، 30 و 60 درصد کم آبیاری) صورت گرفت. نتایج بررسی‌های به عمل آمده نشان داد که با کاهش دسترسی گیاه به آب یا کم آبیاری، وزن و طول ریشه کاهش یافت. پراکنش وزنی و طولی ریشه در اعماق مختلف خاک، به میزان دسترسی گیاه به آب وابسته بود، به گونه‌ای که با افزایش سطح کم آبیاری، میزان پراکنش ریشه در عمق بیشتر خاک، کاهش یافت. بنابراین میتوان اذعان نمود که بر خلاف گیاهان گزروفیت و مزوفیت، نفوذ عمقی ریشه E. camaldulensis به طور کامل به میزان رطوبت موجود در اعماق خاک وابسته است، به گونه‌ای که خشکی لایه‌های زیرین خاک، موجب توقف رشد ریشه در اعماق گردیده و گیاه با سازگاری به مقدار آب موجود در لایه‌های سطحی خاک، میزان رشد رویشی خود را مدیریت مینماید.}, keywords_fa = {Eucalyptus camaldulensis,کم آبیاری,لایسیمتر}, url = {https://irannature.areeo.ac.ir/article_118212.html}, eprint = {https://irannature.areeo.ac.ir/article_118212_7474a71d7c1741f894d1f713318224b8.pdf} }
